Rob has a wealth of experience in urban planning, having spent over 40 years working in the profession. He has worked on a wide range of projects including the Canberra Centre Redevelopment, ANU Exchange, student housing, high rise residential projects, Capital Business Park, Tuggeranong Town Centre and Gungahlin Drive Extension. He has also undertaken a number of projects for Government and private clients internationally; including the Changsha Estate Subdivision (China), Moon Lake and Orange Island (China), the Cagayan Master Plan (Philippines) and a residential accommodation strategy for Australian Government employees. Rob’s experience and expertise now sees him contributing to policy advice, master plans, development approvals, presentations to Government agencies and politicians, and media advice.
His passion for the industry stems from his interest in cities as a major construct of societies, and as places that connect the economy, environment and people. He believes town planners can make a difference to living standards, amenity, efficient land use and sound economic development.

Trevor is a corporate member of the Planning Institute of Australia and has over 30 years of experience working in private practice and local Government planning both in the ACT and throughout country NSW. He has worked on a diverse range of projects including subdivision concept plans, environmental impact assessments, strategic planning studies and statutory planning, and continues to pursue innovative solutions to projects.
Trevor believes that each individual should contribute more to their community than they take from it, and it is this ethos that guides his passion for his work. As an active contributor to numerous community projects and the leader of various community groups, he strives to make places more liveable, more sustainable or simply better places to be.

Richard has 7 years experience in urban and strategic planning at the National Capital Authority and over a decades experience in Project Management of Civil, planning and ICT projects. Richard also has extensive experience with CAD and Geographic Information Systems spanning over 13 years. Richard has gained a broad range of skills during his career working on major projects throughout NSW and the ACT. Over the last 7 years Richard has worked on a wide variety of planning and civil works projects assisting the development of the nation’s capital.
Richard’s strong ability to liaise with Government, community and industry representatives on planning and development related matters is invaluable in facilitating development outcomes for our clients. He also has experience in public consultation and community engagement working closely with key interest groups in Canberra.

Emily has recently completed her Bachelor in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Canberra. Since joining the team in 2016, Emily has worked across a broad range of projects involving community consultation, due diligence, lease variations, heritage impact assessments, economic impact assessments and Territory Plan variations.
Emily envisions Canberra to be a lively, social and sustainable city and hopes to use this vision to influence her work at Purdon Planning.

Emma has over 15 years’ experience in office management and executive level support with a range of not for profit, private and member based organisations focussed on working with multi-disciplinary teams for regional based projects and initiatives. In addition to managing the coordination of the Purdon office, Emma also provides support to the team with development applications, design collateral and high level administrative support.

George plays a vital role in supporting the senior team in community consultation, graphic design, development applications and site due diligence tasks. Prior to joining the team, George interned with the ACT Planning Minister and in the planning department of the City of El Paso, Texas. In his work George is interested in bringing a collaborative and conscientious approach to planning to create inviting, inclusive spaces with unique identities. He also cares deeply about the environment and heritage.
